2020 will be etched into history as the year that the Covid-19 crisis hit. Around the globe, governments issued stay-at-home orders. Companies struggled to maintain business as usual, and demand for unified communication solutions rocketed.
Microsoft Teams was the natural go-to for many companies. Provided as part of the Microsoft365 suite, uptake of the unified communications solution soared, from 13 million daily active users in July 2019 to 115 million daily active users by November 2020. The exponential growth in Microsoft Teams also fueled the adoption of Qunifi’s Microsoft approved product Call2Teams.
A Call2Teams partnership network that spans the globe
Sold exclusively through channel partners, Qunifi now works with nearly all firms identified in Gartner’s UCaaS Magic Quadrant, as well as 250+ other distributors, resellers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
“Call2Teams enabled us to deliver a great calling experience to our Office 365 Teams users without compromising on our current call management tools. And it was set-up in record time.” Tarryn Magistrell – Finance & Operations Manager – Futerra Sustainability Communications
Partners stretch across the globe, with Call2Teams being delivered as far-a-field as Canada, Singapore, New Zealand, and even Mongolia!
“Our partners have ‘enabled Teams calling’ for hundreds of thousands of users across the globe. We are now handling the call traffic for some of the worlds’ biggest corporations. It is a real honour knowing that we are providing a solution that adds real value.” Mark Hebert – Founder & President, Qunifi.
Supporting our Call2Teams partners through people and innovation
In addition to exponential partner growth, Qunifi has trebled the size of its team. Along with several developer hires, Jeannie Arthur joins as Chief Executive Officer; Richard Johnson joins from LoopUp as Director of Partnerships; Pardeep Koonar joins from Martello Technologies as VP Sales Americas; and Darren King joins from CenturyLink as Operations Manager.
Qunifi continues to evolve the core product, with several enterprise-grade updates – one such update is Teams True Transfer. This pioneering feature ensures that busy/free status is shown correctly in the PBX if a call is transferred between users in Microsoft Teams; incredibly useful in multi-agent and call centre environments.
Ambitions for Call2Teams in 2021
Plans for Call2Teams in 2021 are no less ambitious. Onboarding of partners continues at pace, a new website with an enhanced partner programme is ‘coming soon’ and the development team is already working away on a number of pioneering new features.
“We are exploring how we continue to develop our products technically, improve usability, diversify our offering, and add additional value within the call-path. So, stay tuned for updates in the early part of this year.” Jeannie Arthur, CEO, Qunifi
